AIM's Four Week Programs
Our four week programs consist of hour-long classes and follow this schedule:
  •     Day One covers safety and proper form
  •     Day Two covers how to aim
  •     Days Three & Four allow for practice and form refinement as well as additional skill development
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Program 
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a USA Archery program designed to teach archery to students age 8 to 20 over a series of classes taught by certified instructors and coaches.   JOAD offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that fosters focus, self-confidence, and team building skills.  As archers continue in the program, they learn more advanced techniques.  JOAD archers achieve awards based on scores and pursuing competition is an option. Adult Archery Program (AAP)

The Adult Archery Achievement Program is a USA Archery program designed to teach archery to students age 21 and up over a series of classes taught by certified instructors and coaches.  AAAP offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that fosters focus, self-confidence, and team building skills.   As archers continue in the program, they learn more advanced techniques.  AAAP  archers achieve awards based on scores and pursuing competition is an option.  Click on the AAAP link under Programs for more details.

National Training System (NTS)

Certified instructors and coaches teach the National Training System (NTS) form used by US Olympic archers. Archers begin with light-weight recurve bows in order to focus on enhancing form, establishing consistency, and avoiding unnecessary injuries.
